Charitabale Endeavors DONATIONS ON EACH CLOSED LOAN We believe in “the golden rule” which encompasses the spirit of giving. However, without you, our valued client, we would have nothing to give. Therefore, instead of us randomly picking and choosing who the recipients will be, we instead turn to you for guidance. We recognize that people have a charitable organization that is near and dear to their heart. The list of worthy causes would fill our entire website. So, instead of us deciding where a gift should be made, we request that YOU determine the beneficiary of the donation made by Candor after your loan closing. This is how it works: At the time of application, Candor will provide you with a Donation Certificate. You will complete two sections on the Donation Certificate:
Then, just return the completed Donation Certificate to Candor along with your loan application package. After your loan closes, Candor will send a donation to the designated recipient. Donation amounts vary between $25 and $500 depending on numerous factors. In order for this program to be compliant and thrive, only legitimate charitable organizations are permitted. DONATIONS AT YEAR END BASED ON PROFITABILITY During the boom years, many mortgage companies paid their loan officers bonuses that were calculated as a percentage of the income produced by each individual. Those bonuses have been long gone as many companies have closed their doors. As we’ve already mentioned, Candor’s unique model places our loan officer compensation among the highest in the industry. Another part of our model is to bring back that long-forgotten notion of bonuses. The loan officer benefits, but not in the way that you may think. Instead, each loan officer will be given a dollar amount, based upon their personal production, and then they chose what worthy cause it will go towards. However, unlike our Donation Certificates, this can be ANY cause and does not have to be an IRS qualified charitable organization. Here are some possible uses:
